The girl in the yellow t-shirt is Ayuna, organiser of the Volunteer Summer School in Buryatia. Hi, guys!
The building is the Moscow State Lomonosov University or MSU (considered the best and the most prestigious university of Russia). Hi, guys!
So, my name is Ayuna and I study at MSU, journalism faculty. (: Oh, wooow!!)
The Volunteer Summer School I organise takes place in two villages in Siberian backwoods in my home region a republic of Russia named Buryatia on the eastern shore of Lake Baikal in South-Eastern Siberia, on the border with Mongolia and China. It's a place where people have never seen any foreigners and never gone abroad, life is very poor and limited and some of the children as they know and see only one type of reality find education unuseful, unnecessary and never plan to get it.
I want... to change their views. As u could have already understood, my message to the world is "Education is the way to change ur mind. And if u change ur mind u can change the world". For the better, of course, we hope.
So, 10 Volunteers will spend two weeks teaching kids in...

If u want to: 1) visit Buryatia, 2) live unique experience, 3) teach local kids smth good - come and do it! Because:
if not this School, u won't be able just to come and see the place and people! It is a borderland zone and to get in there u have to have a permission from the local authorities. Tell me, how u will get it if not this School??? Then after u could say: no one in the whole world has been there but I have...
On one hand, the main aim of the Volunteer Summer School in Buryatia is to promote education to local children. On the other hand, we hope that living this experience will broaden ur mind and outlook, too. As the slogan of the Summer School says - Make change - educate yourself and others.
